NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in four sets in a non-conference match at Saint Mary's College on Wednesday.
Saint Mary's defeated Kalamazoo 25-9, 26-24, 14-25, 25-17. The two teams are scheduled to play their MIAA match in Kalamazoo on Nov. 2.
The host Belles hit .196 in the match compared to .092 by the Hornets.
Brittany Miller had 11 kills and 16 digs.
Halley Johnson had 11 kills, 10 digs and two aces.
Ann Lawrence finished with five kills and six digs.
Savannah Chapie and
Toni Koshmider each had four kills and three digs.
Jana Molby led the team with 18 assists and six digs.
Sara Reathaford had 14 assists and six digs.
Lizzy Rachiele had nine digs.
The Hornets are off until Sept. 28 when they travel to River Forest, Ill., for a 12 p.m. CT time match at Dominican.
