KALAMAZOO, MICH. - Kalamazoo College's women's soccer team lost a non-conference matchup to Carleton 1-0 in the season opener for both teams on Friday night.
The only shot on goal during the first half of the game came in the first minute of the game from the Knights' Sam Gotch. Carleton would take the lead and score the only goal of the game in the 48th minute by Kathryn Kresse.
The Hornets' best chances at scoring came off shots from sophomores
Savannah Norman and
Ruby Hogan.

Jess Forbis recorded three saves in the game as the Hornets were outshot 8-4 overall, 4-1 on goal.
