KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team was defeated 5-4 by Calvin University inside the Markin Tennis Center on Tuesday.

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches but Calvin won four of the six singles matches to win the match.

Juliana Pullen/Maddie Hurley won 8-2 at one doubles. Eleni Bougioukou/Molly Stevison won 8-3 at three doubles.

Pullen won 6-1, 6-3 at one singles. Hurley won a three-setter 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 at two singles.

Kalamazoo returns to action Saturday, April 6, when the Hornets host Adrian.
