ORLANDO, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost its first spring trip match 8-1 to Union College (N.Y.) on Friday at the USTA National Campus. The match was delayed approximately two hours due to rain and wet courts.

Ivy Walker/Olivia Wolfe won 8-4 at two doubles, keeping it a 2-1 match score after doubles. Union proceeded to win all six singles matches in straight sets.

Kalamazoo had opportunities to win sets in singles but came up a little short. Juliana Pullen lost her first set 7-5 at one singles. Eleni Bougioukou also lost 7-5 in the first set at three singles. Olivia Wolfe had the closest match overall in singles, falling 6-3, 6-4 at six.

Kalamazoo is back in action Sunday, March 24, against DePauw University at 1 p.m.
