OLIVET, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team won 3-0 at The University of Olivet on Tuesday.
Callie Abair scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute. Kalamazoo carried the 1-0 lead into halftime.
Ruby Hogan scored on a penalty kick in the 69th minute to give the Hornets a 2-0 advantage.
Abair scored again in the 71st minute, assisted by
Maeve Nolan, putting the Hornets up 3-0.
Kalamazoo finished the game with a 21-8 advantage in shots, 15-1 on goal. The Hornets also had 12 corner kicks compared to two by the Comets.
Elana Mitchell was credited with one save in goal while earning the shutout.
Kalamazoo returns home for Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 12, as the Hornets take on Alma at noon.
