KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team shutout Alma 3-0 at home on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon.
Callie Abair scored the game's first goal in the 12th minute.
Elle Bernas scored on a rebounded shot by
Ruby Hogan in the 27th minute to give Kalamazoo a 2-0 advantage.
Ruby Hogan scored off her own rebound in the 41st minute putting the Hornets up 3-0.
Kalamazoo outshot Alma 25-6 in the game, 16-2 on goal. The Hornets also had 10 corner kicks compared to three by Alma.
Jess Forbis was credited with two saves in goal in the shutout.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Albion.
