KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 by Adrian in an MIAA matchup Saturday afternoon at MacKenzie Field.
 
The Bulldogs scored the goal with a one-on-one netter from Annamarie Fosmoen in the 88th minute of play.
 
The Hornets outshot Adrian 13-10 overall. Kalamazoo held a 6-3 edge in shots on goal.
 
Kalamazoo also had 10 corner kicks in the game, while Adrian had 3.
 
Elana Mitchell had two saves in the net on the afternoon for the Hornets.
 
Kalamazoo returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Olivet, with the game time scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
