KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated by No. 2 Hope College at home on Tuesday, 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.
The Flying Dutch hit .402 in the match compared to .022 by the Hornets.
Savannah Chapie led Kalamazoo with five kills.
Ann Lawrence and
Tatum Casper each had four kills.
Brittany Miller and
Halley Johnson each finished with three.
Makala Goddard had a team-high 11 assists.Â
Emerson Arensman finished with eight.
Rachel Meston had nine digs.
Lizzy Rachiele added seven.
Kalamazoo is back in action at home on Thursday, Oct. 17, in a non-conference match against Bluffton at 7 p.m.
