KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Calvin 5-1 in an MIAA Tournament semifinal match Wednesday at Stowe Stadium. The Hornets will host Hope in the tournament championship match Friday at 4:30 p.m. with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships. Hope defeated Saint Mary's 5-3 in the other semifinal Wednesday.

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches against Calvin before winning three singles matches to win the match.

Renee Torres/Sophie Zhuang won 8-3 at one doubles. Maddie Hurley/Meghan Killmaster won 8-6 at two.

Zhuang won 6-2, 6-1 at two singles. Ivy Walker won 6-2, 6-1 at six.. Eleni Bougioukou won the clinching point for the Hornets 6-4, 7-5 at five singles.
