KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team improved to 5-0 in the MIAA with a 7-2 win over Saint Mary's College on Sunday. Saint Mary's dropped just its second match of the season (13-2, 3-2 MIAA).

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches to win the match.

Sophie Zhuang/Renee Torres won 8-5 at one doubles. Ivy Walker/Rebecca Elias won 8-6 at three.

Torres and Zhuang won in straight sets at one and two singles, respectively. Meghan Killmaster clinched the win for the Hornets with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at three singles.

Eleni Bougioukou (five) and Ivy Walker (six) also won in straight sets.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to play an exhibition match against Olivet on Wednesday, April 12, before hosting hope on Saturday, April 15, at 1 p.m.
