ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team won 5-4 at Adrian College on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning two singles matches to win the match.

Renee Torres/Sophie Zhuang won 8-3 at one doubles. Meghan Killmaster/Maddie Hurley won 8-4 at two. Rebecca Elias/Ivy Walker won 8-5 at three.

Killmaster won one of the two singles matches, 7-5, 6-1, at three.

Hurley won the last match on the court, 7-5, 2-6, 6-1, at four to win the match.

Torres dropped a 7-6(7), 6-4 match at one singles. Zhuang was defeated in three sets, 6-3. 3-6. 6-4.

Eleni Bougioukou fell 6-3, 7-5 at five singles. Ivy Walker was defeated 6-3, 6-4 at six.

Kalamazoo improved to 8-5 (4-0 MIAA) with the win. The Hornets travel to Wheaton College on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. Eastern match.
