ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team won 9-0 at Albion College on Wednesday. The Hornets improved to 2-0 in the MIAA (3-4 overall), while Albion fell to 0-1 in the MIAA (2-8 overall).

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Renee Torees/Sophie Zhuang won 8-1 at one doubles. Lauren Marshall/Maddie Hurley pulled out an 8-7(6) win at two. Rebecca Elias/Ivy Walker won 8-4 at three.

Torres (1), Zhuang (2) and Hurley (3) each won 6-0, 6-0 in singles.

Eleni Bougioukou won 6-2, 6-2 at four. Elias won 6-0, 6-1 at five. Molly Stevison won 7-5, 6-0 at six.

The Hornets head south to Orlando, Fla., where they are schedule to play four matches in five days beginning on Friday, March 17.
