KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost 5-4 to Wheaton College in a lenghty match inside the Markin Center on Saturday. The visiting Wheaton Thunder entered the match ranked No. 20 in the region.

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches, but Wheaton won four of the six singles matches to win the match.

Caroline Norton/Renee Torres won 8-6 at one doubles. Sophie Zhuang/Meghan Killmaster won 8-6 at two doubles.

Ella Knight won 7-5, 6-2 at four singles. Caroline Norton won a nearly four hour match at one singles, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4.

The Hornets return to conference play with a home match against Alma on Tuesday, April 5 at 4 p.m.
