KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 in the MIAA with an 8-1 win over Calvin inside the Markin Center on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles points before winning five of the six singles matches.

Caroline Norton/Renee Torres pulled out an 8-7(4) win at one doubles. Meghan Killmaster/Sophie Zhuang won 8-3 at two, while Ella Knight/Maddie Hurley won 8-4 at three.

Norton, Torres, Zhuang and Knight each won in straight sets in singles. Killmaster won 6-0, 4-6, 10-2 at six singles.

Kalamazoo is back in action Saturday with a home non-conference match against Wheaton scheduled for 1 p.m.
