ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost 86-52 at Albion College on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo fell behind early and trailed 41-23 at halftime.

The host Britons shot 59.6 percent from the field while sinking 11-of-25 3-pointers. Kalamazoo was held to 31.6 percent overall while making 10-of-29 3's. Albion also held a 43-29 advantage in rebounds.

Jack Smith led Kalamazoo with 12 points and four rebounds.

Merritt Hamann and Ty Horky each scored nine points. Jordan Currie finished with eight points and a team-high eight rebounds.

Kalamazoo returns home to take on Alma in conference play Saturday at 2 p.m.
