ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team won 8-1 at Trine on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles points before winning five of the six singles flights.

The win also marked the 100th for Kalamazoo Head Coach Mark Murphy.

Winning for Kalamazoo in doubles was: Maria Franco/Sonal Bahl (1), Maddy Winarski/Alex Oswalt (2) and Helen Pelak/Bella Russo (3).

Winning for the Hornets in straight sets in singles were: Maria Franco (1), Maddy Winarski (2), Helen Pelak (3), Alex Oswalt (4) and Sonal Bahl (6).

Kalamazoo returns to action at home against Adrian on Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m.
