ORLANDO, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Brooklyn College 9-0 at the USTA National Campus on Saturday.

The Hornets made quick work of the Bulldogs in doubles before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Maria Franco and Sonal Bahl teamed up for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Lisa Johnston and Maddy Winarski won 8-1 at two while Alex Oswalt and Helen Pelak won 8-0 at three.

Franco, Winarski, Pelak, Oswalt, Bella Russo and Julia Bachmann all won in straight sets in singles.

Kalamazoo returns to action Sunday with a 10 a.m. match against Luther College.
