GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost a tight match to Calvin College Saturday afternoon, 5-4.

Falling behind 3-0 after doubles, K did its best to win the match in singles taking four of the six matches. Maria Franco took one singles 6-1, 7-5 while Laura Hanselman took two singles 6-3, 6-3.

Siani Johnson and Sonal Bahl also picked up wins at four and six singles, respectively. Alexandria Oswalt took the first set of her five singles match but fell in three sets.

The Hornets end the regular season with a 6-2 MIAA record and will compete in the MIAA tournament beginning on Thursday, May 4.
