KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Saint Mary's 7-2 on Senior Day at Stowe Stadium on Tuesday.

Kalamazoo led 2-1 after doubles before winning five of the six singles matches.

Laura Hanselman and Eloise Germic won 8-4 at two doubles while Alexandria Oswalt and Sonal Bahl won 8-6 at three.

Maria Franco (1) and Oswalt (5) won in straight sets in singles before Hanselman clinched the win with a 6-4, 6-4 win at two. Siani Johnson (4) and Bahl (6) also earned wins.

Kalamazoo improved to 8-8 overall and 4-1 in the MIAA maintaining a tie for second place with Calvin.

The Hornets finish the regular season with three consecutive away contests beginning with Alma on Sunday, April 23.
