KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Calvin College 6-3 in the Markin Center on Saturday.

Kalamazoo led 2-1 after doubles before winning the first three singles matches to clinch the match.

Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass won 8-1 at one doubles followed by Maria Franco and Sonal Bahl's 8-4 win at two.

Woods won 6-0, 6-0 at one singles followed by Franco's 6-2, 6-2 win at three. Dass clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-4 win at two.

Calvin won the next two singles matches before Katie Clark closed out the match with a 7-5, 6-4 win at five singles.

Kalamazoo (4-8, 2-0 MIAA) was scheduled to travel to Alma on Sunday - that match has been moved to Monday.
