KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Taking a break from Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action, the Kalamazoo College women's tennis team came up just short Saturday morning against the visitors from Wheaton.

The Thunder defeated the Hornets, 6-3.

Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass picked up the Hornets' lone win in the doubles matches winning 8-3 at one doubles.

Wheaton secured its win as Sonal Bahl, Katie Clark and Siani Johnson were defeated at six, five and four singles respectively.

Woods, No. 19 in the country, won at one singles 6-0, 5-7, 6-0.

Sabrina Dass also picked up a win for Kalamazoo going 7-6, 4-6, 10-8 at two singles.

The Hornets will look to get back on track tomorrow as they take on Coe at Stowe Stadium.
