GRANVILLE, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost 7-2 at Denison University on Saturday.

The host Big Red are ranked No. 23 in the nation and fifth in the region while the Hornets entered at No. 39 nationally and eighth in the region.

Denison swept the three doubles points by scores of 8-3, 8-2 and 8-2.

Kalamazoo earned wins at one and two singles. Sarah Woods won 5-7, 7-5, 10-7 at one while Maria Franco won 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 at two.

Kalamazoo returns to action at home on March 16 when the Hornets open MIAA play against Olivet at 4 p.m.
