CHICAGO - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to the University of Chicago on Saturday. Kalamazoo entered the match ranked No. 38 in Division III while the Maroons are ranked No. 15.

Chicago swept the three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass had the closest match of the day (8-4) at one singles.

Woods, ranked No. 19 in singles, lost 6-0, 6-1 to No. 4 Ariana Iranpour at one singles.

Kalamazoo returns to action at Denison on March 5.
