KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Saint Mary's (Ind.) 9-0 on Wednesday evening. It was the team's third win in a row and the Hornets are now 13-6 overall and 6-1 in MIAA play.

Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass got things started for the Hornets winning No.1 doubles 8-2. After them Maria Franco and Olivia Bouchard won No.2 doubles 8-6 and and Cheryl Zhang and Carrie Foura won No.3 doubles 8-3.

Then in singles Sarah Woods continued her undefeated streak, winning No.1 singles 6-0, 6-1. Maria Franco followed her up winning 6-2, 6-0. In No.3 singles Sabrina Dass won 6-4, 6-0, and in No.4 singles Olivia Bouchard won 6-4, 6-2. In No.5 and No.6 singles Cheryl Zhang won 6-1, 7-5, and Carrie Foura won 6-4, 6-3 to complete the sweep.

The team plays again Saturday, Apr. 25 at Albion in its last regular season match.
