The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost 6-3 to No. 30 Oberlin College on Friday in a match played at Hope College.
In addition to being nationally ranked, Oberlin entered the match ranked No. 6 in the region while Kalamazoo is ranked No. 13.
Oberlin took a 2-1 lead after doubles and won the match with four singles wins.
Kelsey Moran and Cheryl Zhang won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.
Sarah Woods defeated Farah Leclercq 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles in a key regional matchup.
Anna Latala was victorious at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.
Kalamazoo returns home to face Trine in MIAA action on Saturday at 1 p.m.
