The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team won 7-2 in MIAA play at Calvin on Wednesday.

Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles points before winning five of the six singles matches.

Sarah Woods and Olivia Bouchard won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. Jenna Riehl and Anna Latala won 9-7 at No. 2 doubles.

Woods won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles while Riehl won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.

Calvin won narrow victories at No. 3 doubles (8-6) and No. 6 singles (6-7(2), 7-5, 10-1).

Kalamazoo improved to 9-5 overall and 4-1 in the MIAA. The Hornets travel to Kenyon College on Saturday for a pair of non-conference matches.
