The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team opened conference play with a 9-0 win over Alma in the Markin Center on Saturday.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles points before winning all six singles matches.

Sarah Woods and Olivia Bouchard won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles. Jenna Riehl/Anna Latala won at No. 2 while Kelsey Moran/Cheryl Zhang won at No. 3.

Woods won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. Riehl, Moran, Latala, Bouchard, and Carrie Foura also won singles matches.

Kalamazoo is off until March 22 when the Hornets face UW-Oshkosh in Orlando, Fla.
