The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost 77-46 at Adrian College on Saturday. The start of the game was delayed approximately one hour due to transportation problems on the road.

Kalamazoo shot just 17.2 percent in the first half while the host Bulldogs shot 60 percent to take a 43-13 lead into halftime. Adrian outscored Kalamazoo 34-33 in the second half.

Adrian shot 54.1 percent overall while the Hornets finished at 32.7 percent after shooting 50 percent in the second half. Adrian held a 37-32 advantage in rebounds while outscoring Kalamazoo 36-16 in the paint.

Carter Goetz led Kalamazoo with 11 points and four rebounds. Adam Peters scored nine points with five rebounds.

Mike Oravetz added eight points in 20 minutes off the bench.

Kalamazoo returns to action at Alma on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
