Kalamazoo College

Kathleen (O’Farrell) White joined the Kalamazoo College Department of Athletics as assistant athletic trainer in January of 2014. White came to Kalamazoo College from The College of Wooster (Ohio) where she served as an assistant athletic trainer since 2011. She was named head athletic trainer in March of 2016. White also serves as Kalamazoo College's Athletics Health Care Administrator.

White earned her master’s degree in exercise and sports medicine at Western Michigan University in 2011. She worked as the head athletic trainer at Kalamazoo Central High School while completing her degree. Additionally, White worked the USTA Boys’ 18 & 16 National Championships as well as at the K Valley Orthopedics Walk-in Clinic during her time in Kalamazoo.

A native of Greeley, Colo., White earned her bachelor’s degree (kinesiology health promotion, athletic training) at the University of Wyoming in 2009. She worked at Colorado Knee and Shoulder during her undergraduate years while also serving as a student athletic trainer for the Greeley Greys semi-professional baseball team.

Kathleen and her husband, Kevin, reside in Kalamazoo.
