Aaron Rice first joined the Kalamazoo College football coaching staff in the summer of 2013 and returned in 2016. An Assistant Head Coach, Rice coaches the quarterbacks while also coordinating the passing game and special teams. He was named Co-Offensive Coordinator in 2025.

Rice joined the Kalamazoo staff from Parchment High School where he served as a varsity assistant coach while working with running backs and defensive backs at the junior varsity level.

Rice joined the staff at Manchester University in 2014 where he served until May of 2016. During the 2014 season Rice coached the running backs and specialist returners while also serving as assistant video coordinator. He coached two All-HCAC honorable mention running backs and the HCAC special teams player of the year. In 2015, Rice coached the wide receivers, specialist returners and was video coordinator while coaching two HCAC honorees. During his two seasons at Manchester the team broke or set 12 offensive records.

A 2012 graduate of Kalamazoo College with a degree in biology, Rice hauled in 47 receptions over a three year career (2008-10) for the Hornets. During his senior year, he was honored with the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts against Manchester. Rice graduated from Parchment High School in 2007, and is the school's career receptions leader.
