MARSHALL, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's golf team finished sixth at the season's first MIAA Jamboree hosted by Albion at Marshall CC on Monday.

Kalamazoo shot 336 overall, three strokes out of fifth place and 18 behind the leader (Adrian).

Jacey Merkle tied for seventh overall with an 80.

Gabrielle Sluss shot 84, followed by Kate Posey (85) and Ellie Britt (87).

Jillian Smith shot an 89, while Nadia Zerlaut shot an 81 as an individual.

The Hornets are back in action at another MIAA Jamboree hosted by Hope on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Clearbrook GC in Saugatuck.
