OBERLIN, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team won 2-0 at Oberlin College on Wednesday.
Maeve Nolan put Kalamazoo up 1-0 with a goal in the 20th minute. Kalamazoo held the 1-0 lead until the 87th minute when
Savannah Norman found the back of the net.
Kalamazoo outshot Oberlin 15-8 overall, 7-4 on goal. The Hornets had seven corner kicks to Oberlin's three.
Jess Forbis was credited with four saves in goal in the shutout.
Kalamazoo (2-0) returns to action this weekend at Carthage College when the Hornets face Bethel (Wis.) on Saturday followed by Concordia (Wis.) on Sunday.
