Outstanding Team Competition of the Year
Women's Tennis - One of the season's most exciting moments came during the 4-2 MIAA Semifinal win over Saint Mary's. Saint Mary's had won 11 of their last 12, but Kalamazoo struck first, winning 2 and 3 doubles to take the opening point. After moving indoors due to the weather, Juliana Pullen gave K a quick 2-0 lead with a dominant 6-0 win. The match tightened at 2-2, but Ivy Walker came through with a convincing win at #4 singles. The deciding point came from Rebecca Elias, who played one of her best matches of the year to clinch the victory. This all-around team effort sent Kalamazoo back to the MIAA Championship match, just one win away from the NCAA Tournament.

Men's Basketball - One of the season's most memorable performances came from the Men's Basketball Team in their high-scoring showdown against Grinnell. In an exciting, fast-paced game, the Hornets came out on top with a 130-115 victory, setting a new college record for most points scored in a game since the 1977-1978 season. It was a historic night for the program and a true display of teamwork and determination.
