KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Saint Mary's College 4-2 in an MIAA Tournament semifinal on Wednesday.
Kalamazoo won the doubles point with wins at two and three doubles. Shortly after singles play began, the matches were moved indoors due to rain. Kalamazoo won three of the five completed matches to secure the win and advance to Friday's MIAA Tournament championship match. Kalamazoo, the two-seed in the tournament, will travel to top-seeded Hope College, a 4-1 winner over Calvin in Wednesday's other semifinal.

Addison Lyons won 6-3 at two doubles.

Rebecca Elias also won 6-3 at three doubles.
Juliana Pullen won 6-0, 6-0 at one singles.
Ivy Walker won 6-0, 6-2 at four singles.
Rebecca Elias clinched the win for the Hornets with a 7-5, 6-4 win at five singles.
The winner of Friday's tournament championship match earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championships.
