HOLLAND, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team was defeated 4-1 by Hope in the MIAA Tournament championship match on Friday.
Hope won at two and three doubles to win the doubles point.
Hope led 3-0 before
Ivy Walker's 6-2, 6-4 win at four singles made it 3-1. The Flying Dutch then clinched the match with another singles victory.
Juliana Pullen had won the first set 7-5 at one singles when the match was decided.
Kalamazoo, ranked #52 nationally this week, finished second in the MIAA with a 7-1 league record.
