WHITEWATER, Wis. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team was defeated 5-2 at No. 31 Wisconsin-Whitewater on Sunday. Kalamazoo, ranked No. 55 nationally, fell to 13-5 with the loss. Whitewater improved to 15-5.
Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches to earn the doubles point. Whitewater won five of the six singles matches to clinch the win.

Derek Blackwell won 7-5 at two.
Will Seymour won 3-6, 7-5, 10-5 at five singles. Alousi was defeated in three sets at one singles, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-2.
Kalamazoo returns to action as the top-seed in the MIAA Tournament. The Hornets host Trine in an MIAA Tournament semifinal on Thursday, May 1, at 4 p.m. The Thunder defeated Adrian 4-0 in a first round match on Saturday.
