ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was defeated 137-94 in a dual meet at Alma on Saturday.

Sammie Carpentier took first place in the 1-meter Diving event with a score of 223.95. Sofie Santos finished second with a score of 213.90.

Sofie Santos was first in the 3-meter Diving event with a score of 213.30. Sammie Carpentier was second with a score of 194.25.

Kalamazoo swimmers finished second in the following events:
200 Medley Relay (Mallory Gentry, Mary Muenzenmaier, Frannie Turner, Jackie Stoddard) - 1:59.58

Kalamazoo will now prepare for the MIAA Championships held Feb. 19-22 at Calvin.
