GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team finished fourth at the MIAA Championships hosted by Calvin Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 19-22. The Hornets finished just 15 points out of third place.
Saturday's Top Finishers
Kalamazoo finished fourth in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:43.46 (
Anni Schnell,
Jackie Stoddard,
Frannie Turner,
Mallory Gentry).
Sara Cate Finks finished seventh in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 19:09.42.
Frannie Turner was seventh in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:20.23.
Friday's Top Finishers
Parker Keim finished second in the 3-Meter Diving event with a score of 396.70.
Sofie Santos was fourth at 380.00.
Sammie Carpentier finished eighth at 325.30.
Kalamazoo finished fourth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:54.51 (
Anni Schnell,
Mary Muenzenmaier,
Frannie Turner,
Jackie Stoddard).
Mallory Gentry finished seventh in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:57.96.
Frannie Turner finished eighth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:54.98.
Kalamazoo moved into fourth place following Friday's competition, just eight points out of third place.
