Troy Richard was selected as the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday.

A freshman diver from Grosse Pointe, Mich. (Grosse Pointe South), Richard placed second in both the 1m and 3m dives at the Hornet Diving Invite this past weekend.

Richard posted a score of 462.65 on the 3m board Friday, and followed that performance with a 442.15 from the 1m board on Saturday. Both scores were good enough to earn NCAA qualifying cuts.

Kalamazoo swimming and diving returns to the pool to host the Michigan-Illinois Quad Meet on Jan. 17 at Kalamazoo College Natatorium.
