EDGEWATER, N.J. - The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team was defeated 8-1 by Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday at Edgewater Tennis Club.

Stevens swept the three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches.

Adnan Alousi won 4-6, 6-0, 10-4 at two singles for the Hornets.

Gabe Vidinas had a narrow defeat at one singles, 5-7, 7-6(4), 10-8.

Vidinas and Alex Fleming had the closest match in doubles, falling 8-5 at number one.

Kalamazoo wraps up its spring trip on Thursday with a 4 p.m. match at Franklin & Marshall.
