KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team fell to Adrian in OT, 60-63 on Wednesday night. The Hornets are now 2-3 on the season.

The Hornets led by two (28-26) going into the half. Adrian came back after the half, outscoring Kalamazoo 18-10 to take a six-point (44-38) lead heading into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Kalamazoo outscored Adrian 15-9 to send it into overtime on a three-pointer by Taylor Dinda with 31 seconds remaining. The Hornets fell in overtime being outscored 10-7 by Adrian.

The Hornets shot 35.5 percent overall while the Bulldogs shot 30.6 percent. Kalamazoo made 7-17 from the three-point line compared to Adrian's 3-21. Kalamazoo shot 75 percent on the line (9-12) while Adrian hit 61.5 percent (16-26).

Jordan Wesaw led the Hornets with 12 points on 4-9 shooting and 3-4 from the free throw line. Wesaw tallied 10 rebounds, securing her second double-double of the season.

Lauren Vanderstelt scored 10 points on 4-11 shooting with nine rebounds. Lewie Wilks added nine points, while Jackie Brines and Taylor Dinda scored eight.

Ruby Hogan dished out seven assists, eight rebounds and five points.

The Hornets return to action on Saturday, Dec. 7th at Oberlin. The game will begin at 3 p.m.
