Box Score ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in four sets at Alma College Wednesday night. Alma won the first two sets 25-13, 25-19 before Kalamazoo won the third set 25-15. Alma clinched the match with a 25-10 win in the fourth.

Alma hit .318 in the match compared to .162 by Kalamazoo.

Brittany Miller led the Hornets with 14 kills and six digs.

Ann Lawrence had 13 kills and a team-high .348 hitting percentage.

Savannah Chapie finished with eight kills.

Makala Goddard led the Hornets with 20 assists. Emeron Arensman finished with 14.

Olive Ryder had a team-high 14 digs. Lizzy Rachiele had 10.

Kalamazoo travels to North Central College in Illinois for its next match on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. CT.
