Box Score ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated 26-24, 25-13, 25-23 at Trine on Saturday.

The host Thunder (16-3, 3-1) hit .135 in the match compared to .052 by the Hornets.

Tatum Casped led Kalamazoo with eight kills.

Ava Bechler had seven kills while hitting .313 in the match. Savannah Chapie had six kills and hit .333. Taylor Stephens finished with five kills and eight digs.

Makala Goddard led the team with 13 assists and seven digs. Emerson Arensman had 11 assists.

Lizzy Rachiele led the defensive effort with 18 digs. Olive Ryder finished with nine.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Calvin on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
