HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in three sets at No. 2 Hope College Friday night, 25-18, 25-9, 25-20.

Halley Johnson led the Hornets with six kills. Brittany Miller and Taylor Stephens each had four. Charlotte Ruiter and Jacky LaFollette each had three.

Sara Reathaford had a team-high 10 assists. Jana Molby finished with seven.

Rachel Meston had nine digs with three service aces. Lizzy Rachiele finished with eight digs.

Kalamazoo is back in action Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Trine University.
