OBERLIN, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team dropped a three-set match at Oberlin Thursday night, 26-24, 25-14, 25-17. The Yeowomen improved to 9-1 on the season, while Kalamazoo fell to 4-7.

Savannah Chapie led the Hornets with five kills. Claire Davis, Halley Johnson, Toni Koshmider and Brittany Miller each had three.

Sara Reathaford had a team-high 11 assists. Rorie Dougherty added nine.

Halley Johnson led the team with 10 digs. Rachel Meston had three of Kalamazoo's seven service aces.

Kalamazoo travels to Defiance on Saturday before returning home to begin MIAA play next Tuesday against Saint Mary's.
