KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated by Wheaton College in non-conference play Saturday, 25-19, 25-17, 25-16.

Wheaton hit .294 in the match compared to .088 by Kalamazoo.

Brittany Miller and Toni Koshmider each had six kills to lead the Hornets offensively. Koshmider hit .357 with just one error.

Rorie Dougherty led the Hornets with 10 assists. Sara Reathaford finished with nine.

Lizzy Rachiele had a team-high nine digs. Halley Johnson finished with eight.

Savannah Chapie, Toni Koshmider and Halley Johnson each had two blocks.

Kalamazoo plays its final home match of the season Tuesday night, Oct. 24, against Albion at 7 p.m.
