ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 75-45 at Adrian College Saturday afternoon.

The Hornets led 10-3 early in the contest before trailing 21-14 at the end of the first quarter. Adrian led 37-28 at halftime.

The Bulldogs opened the third quarter on a 13-0 run to pull away and secure the win.

Adrian shot 48.4 percent overall including 75 percent in the third quarter. Kalamazoo shot 30.2 percent overall. Adrian also held a 37-28 advantage in rebounds.

Sara English led the Hornets with 18 points while making 4-of-7 three-pointers. Laila Vincent finished with 11 points.

Kylah Davis grabbed six rebounds with four points and two assists. Kaelyn Arlington also had six rebounds with two points and two assists.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Albion next Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m.
