WYOMING, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team defeated Lake Michigan College in four sets in an exhibition match before defeating host Grace Christian University in five sets Wednesday night.

Kalamazoo defeated two-year Lake Michigan College 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23.

Rorie Dougherty led the Hornets with 12 kills and 12 assists. Ann Lawrence recorded 11 kills.

Kayla Ridenour had 20 assists while Molly Horton finished with 10.

Ashley Rill had 14 digs while Lizzy Rachiele finished with 13.

The match with Grace Christian went five sets with the Hornets coming out on top 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-12.

Ann Lawrence led the Hornets with 14 kills while Hannah VanderLugt had 10.

Kayla Ridenour had 27 assists and 13 digs while Rorie Dougherty had 23 assists and 11 digs.

Lizzy Rachiele and Ashley Rill each had 20 digs.
