ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost a pair of matches on Saturday at Trine. Kalamazoo lost in five sets to Trine and in four sets to Manchester.

Trine defeated Kalamazoo 25-27, 25-9, 25-16, 19-25, 15-7 in the morning conference match.

Jacky LaFollette led the Hornets with 11 kills. Rorie Dougherty and Ann Lawrence each had eight.

Kayla Ridenour posted 19 assists while Ashley Rill had 19 digs. 

Manchester defeated Kalamazoo 25-17, 25-16, 23-25, 25-18 in a non-conference match.

Jacky LaFollette had seven kills while Claire Davis, Hannah VanderLugt and Ann Lawrence each had six.

Rorie Doughtery had 14 assists while Molly Horton had 12.

Ashley Rill had 23 digs.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete next at Grace Christian on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
