HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in three sets at No. 4 Hope College Friday night, 25-13, 25-17, 25-23.

Kalamazoo had 6-0 leads in the first and third sets but was unable to sustain the momentum. The Hornets also led 22-21 late in the third before Hope scored four of the final five points to win the set and the match.

Charlotte Ruiter and Ann Lawrence each had five kills to lead the Hornets. Ashley Rill had four kills with eight assists. 

Lizzy Rachiele led the team with 12 digs.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Olivet on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m.
